Estonian translation of:
Mathematical methods for economic theory: a tutorial
by Martin J. Osborne
Together with Toomas Hinnosaar, we translated Martin J. Osborne's tutorial of mathematical methods. The Estonian version is available in the following address: http://infutik.mtk.ut.ee/www/kodu/rimt/mathtutorial/
Tutorial covers the basic mathematical tools used in economic theory: (multivariate) calculus, convexity and concavity, optimization theory, differential equations and difference equations. Material includes examples and exercises (with answers) for each topic, so it should be perfect for self-studies.
The Estonian version is mostly meant for the estonian undergraduate and graduate students of Economics of Business Administration, whose background in mathematics is not strong enough to listen graduate level courses in Economics or who have studied these subjects only in Estonian and would like to smoothen their switch to English language.
